About the Faculty

The faculty of law was established in 1994. Among our highly qualified academic staff there are 8 full professors holding higher doctoral degrees in law (doctor of science), 33 associate professors holding degrees of candidates of law. The Faculty also employs well-known scientists, academics and specialists from judicial, investigative, and other government organizations to teach courses in various branches of jurisprudence.

Our law students are annually listed among the winners of Russian Students Academic Olympics in Law, International Youth Science Forum "Lomonosov", Russian Academic Olympics "Ekoyurist " and other national and regional competitions, get scholarships of the President of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Russian Federation, the Administration the city and region, the Association of lawyers of Russia. Over the past few years, students have been awarded 1st degree Diploma at the annual contest "My Legislative Initiative", organized by the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.
